Baddlands Cycling Club
|
The club was formed in 1988 in Cheney, Washington. It consisted mostly of EWU collegiate racers. The club was called the Baddlands Bicycle Club. It had about nine members that year. In 1989, the club moved its main headquarters to the Pegasus Media Group in Spokane, Washington. The club membership is currently at around 60 USCF members. This 2003 season will prove to be the best for or teams ever. We have very strong teams in all the USCF cats. The Baddlands Cycling Club has hosted three Washington State criterium championships and four Washington State road race championships. In 1995 and 1996, we hosted 2 USCF Masters Regional State road race championships with riders attending from Alaska, Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Montana, and Utah. There were even some riders from California who competed for cash. The club has had a very successful Twilight Series that has been ongoing since 1989. The races vary between 4 road courses and two criterium courses. We also have a newly paved closed circuit course at Spokane Raceway Park that we use during the Twilight series. |
